PHNOM PENH: National bank of Cambodia Daily Exchange Rate is 4,102KHR to the USD$.

The CSX Index is currently at 472.55 down 0.68 Points or 0.14%.

Over US$2 billion in tax revenue was collected in the January-July period of this year, up 28 percent compared to the same period last year.

July alone, an increase of 19 percent in tax income was collected, with the revenue of nearly US$ 240 million.

European shares rose for a sixth straight session on Wednesday, lifted by financial stocks, with investors focusing on economic growth and inflation data due this week.

The pan-European STOXX 600 (.STOXX) inched up 0.2%, hovering near 10-week highs. All regional markets posted gains.

UK's FTSE 100 (.FTSE) rose 0.1%. Official figures showed British consumer price inflation rose to 10.1% in July, its highest since February 1982, up from an annual rate of 9.4% in June.

Among stocks, Uniper (UN01.DE) fell 8.8% after the German utility reported a first-half net loss of 12.3 billion euros ($12.5 billion), mainly due to lower Russian gas supplies.

Switzerland's biggest life insurer Swiss Life (SLHN.S) rose 1.8% after raising its half-yearly net profit by 4%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI) rose 239.57 points, or 0.71%, to 34,152.01, the S&P 500 (.SPX) gained 8.06 points, or 0.19%, to 4,305.2 and the Nasdaq Composite (.IXIC) dropped 25.50 points, or 0.19%, to 13,102.55.

In commodities, Brent crude futures rose 0.1% to $92.43 a barrel while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 0.22% to $86.72 per barrel.

Spot gold fell 0.07% to $1,774.40 an ounce, while bitcoin rose 0.11% to $23,990.23 The leading cryptocurrency spiked to a two-month high over the weekend but has traded flat since losing almost 5% on Monday.
